I had originally given this watch box a 3 star rating overall. The workmanship on my first box was not very good. Rothwell reached out to me to see if there was anything they could do and suggested I return it as it clearly wasn’t up to their standards based on my description.I received my replacement watch box today, and I’m happy to say this one is overall a better watch box. There are no globs of glue oozing from the separated seams and the decorative cover plate is better aligned to the lock mechanism.There’s a mention of whether these are good for travel. This particular sized watch box is not designed for travel. It’s made to sit on your desk or an end table as a sort of statement piece to draw attention to your watch collection. A conversation starter, if you will.For the money, I think it’s a good watch box.
