For as long as I can remember, WIX has been a reliable and well-made filter. Unfortunately, this is no longer history. Both this filter and the one in my daughter's Mercedes collapsed into an hourglass shape during use and the canister on my wife's Avalon leaked along the seam and dripped oil onto the exhaust. Not only are they bad filters, you also take a risk by using them. Go on, there's nothing to see here (anymore)
