Cheap hardware = low quality

These lights look nice (Baja Designs Squadron fake) but the hardware is very cheap and low quality. The bottom mounting bolt will not be fully tightened no matter what. Yes, and the mount itself is slightly higher than the top of the mounts above the mounting holes. This results in you having to manipulate the bracket between the outer cooling fins on each side. Then it is difficult to screw in cheap screw bolts straight. All the hardware is of poor quality, looks like it will rust quickly and is easily removed if you try to get it nice and tight. Why does it also come with chrome brackets and flashy hardware when the light body is black? Newsflash is matte black these days. Simply powder coat or paint and save yourself cheap chrome work. I've spent significantly more on Baja Designs Squadron Sport and Pro headlights in the past. Expensive but top quality. Thought I'd try these out and see how they compare. But I have no confidence in the internal quality, water resistance, vibration resistance and durability as they cost so cheap on the hardware. I will send them back because of poor quality. But hey, for 53.99 I think I got what I paid for. Cheap Chinese junk. I just thought I'd dare. Spring.
