I've just started an online business and wanted to make sure I have a thermal printer just before the holidays because I know it's going to be crazy busy around Christmas. I did a little research and found that I didn't need Dymo because I saw more bad reviews than good ones. The first thing that struck me is that you are given instructions and a USB stick that shows you how to install the Mac or Windows driver. The printer looks very professional but to be honest it took me a while to figure out how to use it. I messed up with most of my free labels they gave me and now I literally have three labels which sucks but I'm new to this stuff. I would think the printer is wireless or bluetooth because you have to add it to your printer settings, but I don't think it is. You have to plug it into the USB port but I think there might be an issue with the USB port they gave me as it sometimes connects to my printer which is really frustrating. It took me over 30 minutes to figure it out. Find out how to use it after an hour. Overall everything is good, I just have to contact customer service to see if I can get another USB drive. Update: I'm happy to report that someone from support managed to help me with the USB issue. Although it was quite slow, they managed to help and get me a new USB. I've been using my printer for my Etsy for a month now and I love it. It takes a little getting used to if you're a beginner like me, but I ended up liking it and now I'm using it so easily!
