These island stools will come in handy now. My 5 year old can easily put them on and take them off. If they tip over, they are light. But he knows not to push them away because like any chair/stool they can tip over. I didn't use primer equipment because I didn't want to scratch hardwood floors, so I put felt circles on it instead. They work well and don't look bad. However, the embroidery disappointed me. I ordered them quickly so I didn't catch that detail. This annoys me as I prefer the mid-century modern look, but that's fine as I was planning on replacing them in about 5 years anyway. The seat is comfortable and that is the main thing. There is a strange mark on the surface (see photo) which hopefully won't come back after some use. The gray is warm, which suits me as I mix warm and cool grays throughout the home. They arrived well packaged. The black finish on the legs is nice and durable, so putting your legs on the center bar won't damage them. For the really picky ones I've added a photo of the bottom fabric coming off the side and a crease in the material that looks like you're looking at a wrapped present. But you get what you paid for.
