Quality loss from Nesco

I bought this device because my old one died. The other had manual knob adjustment but is otherwise identical. The shell and shelf shapes have changed as the later model appears thinner and has a poorer fit and finish. I use my old shelves because the new ones are not the same. The actual fan/heater assembly seems similar enough to say the same, but I'm hoping it doesn't overheat or burn out like my old one did. Just take a look. Out of the box 4/5 stars.
