I bought 2 strings of these LED lights and hung them. But when following the instructions I found no less than 3 different apps with the same name stated in the instructions! I had to install them all and eliminate the ones not applicable to these lights. The one I did use has numerous product options, leaving me to guess at which one was correct. Then, when setting it up with my wi-fi (8 feet away) it failed numerous times. Super frustrating! At the end, I turned up my phone, the lights and my modem to allow it to succeed. Then, 2 days later, the GFI popped and guess what? Back to blinking and having to do it all again! Yikes! Praying my GFI never pops again, or power goes out as it will surely begin again. By the way, the working app is called "TUYASMART". This will save you time and trouble. Question: how to connect multiple strings is also unanswered. Turns out, the transformer is removable- take it off and plug the stings together. Again, why do the instructions not address this, leaving you on your own to figure it out?Dear Manufacturer: PLEASE REWRITE YOUR POORLY CRAFTED INSTRUCTIONS!BUT- the lights are really great once you get them working.
