Avoid car washes, remove or leave dirty.

Withstands 5 washes; ended up going off, hitting the windshield. At first I thought it would just relax; no separately. Will probably need to be removed before washing which takes away my reason for buying it. Note: After removing the remaining connector I noticed that the threaded adapter was sheared off where the threaded end meets the body.
