I expected this mesh to be a pretty average product. No, that is not so. Basically it's a huge two-hour crap that then performs below standards. Linksys requires you to use their own (low-quality) setup app, which really annoys me. No, I don't need another app cluttering my phone, especially the ones you've added just to be more present in your customers' lives. I have tried installing three units on each floor of my home (upstairs, downstairs and basement) but have been told repeatedly that they are too far apart. Uh, they were lined up straight from floor to floor and my ceilings aren't that high. I measured the ACTUAL distance for each unit - a total of 16 feet up and down between the two units, thank you. But it's too far! How does this product even claim to be three separate nodes? I might as well rid myself of the mess. Once you've setup and cleared the nodes (the blue light will turn on), they might be out of sync for no apparent reason. That means you keep restarting and waiting. After agonizing over this for a few hours, I set everything up and went to sleep. Then one of the blocks turned red. Has refused to reconnect. I was so upset that I unplugged everything and threw it in the trash. Don't buy this. It's garbage.
