USB-A and HDMI were working fine but I couldn't get anything (power, flash drives or My Passport to work connected to slot C). Each of these devices worked fine when plugged directly into my laptop's C port, but when the adapter was plugged into the same laptop C port and the above devices were plugged into the adapter's C port, they did not work. Following my check above, it was found that the C-connector on the adapter works for power, but not for data transfer. If it is only used to charge the device, then everything is fine. However, it does not recognize any type of data transfer such as Flash Drives, My Passports, and If you don't use port A on this adapter, you can purchase a USB power adapter and connect data device C to port A instead, with port C used only for charging .
