Review on πŸ’ͺ DayCount Metal Hole Puncher: Heavy Duty 1/5 inch Single Hole Punch for Office, Home & School Use - Punches up to 30 Sheets Effortlessly! by Amanda Castillo

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Okay but make sure you understand what you are getting. Hole cannot be rendered when punching.

I was looking for a heavy duty punch to punch laminated sheet metal. He does it. A few notes. The part that punches the hole is below (see picture). I just noticed that it has a great slider that lets you choose how far from the edge you want the hole to be. I think the more prominent jaws on top are for rivets or something. it took me some time to figure it out. Because of the design, there isn't much visibility to see your hole as you punch it. The hole size is smaller than a traditional hole punch (see picture). Bottom line, a nice, heavy-duty tool if that's what you're looking for. If you need standard sized perforations or precision perforations that require visibility, look elsewhere.

Pros
  • With the DAYCOUNT Eyelet Setter, you can easily punch a 1/5 inch diameter hole in thin and thick paper, chipboard, book board, thin sheet metal, fabric, leather, etc.
Cons
  • Requires an outlet
