Review on Nisaku NJP320 Blade Stainless Scraper by Patricia Muller

Revainrating 3 out of 5

A well-made, razor-sharp Japanese scraper marred by messy and intricate packaging.

The scraper arrived with very rough homemade cardboard and protective tape over the blade which is very difficult to remove. You need a bottle of Goo-Be-Gone to succeed. A spare piece of cardboard was stapled and glued to the blade as a protective cover. I needed sharp scissors to remove it, but the very sticky tape was still stuck to the blade. The manufacturer also put their own protective tape on the edge of the blade, which also needs to be removed with a solvent. The blade is razor sharp, so it requires a lot of maintenance. It's a well-made, sharp scraper when you're removing the dirt it's wrapped in.

Pros
  • Tools and accessories for outdoor cooking
Cons
  • So far so good
