My car: 2007 Toyota Solara Convertible 3.3L V6. Before purchasing, I spent a lot of time researching the tires for this car. many customer reviews. General tires have received good marks all over the world. They are also made in the USA by Continental Tire. This will be a preview as they have only been in the car for two months. However, note this: after balancing at high speed and properly inflating to factory specs, the comfort and smoothness and handling were immediately felt! These tires replace Goodyear Assurance ComforTread steel-belted radial wheels, which I thought were good. The rear end had to be replaced; the fronts were still very usable; I kept the front pair as spares. Driving out of my mechanic's garage, the General Altima RT43 offered instant comfort over bumps in the road and was EXTREMELY QUIET.
