I ordered and received a newer version of this battery holder (the one that includes the magnetic charging cable and rubber grommet). I attached it with velcro that goes over my head on a halo band. The rubber padding makes it comfortable enough to forget about and also keeps it from riding over your head. I was concerned that the battery might slip out of the mount as it's a thin battery, but between the rubber circles and the rubberized backing of the velcro straps I feel this is an unreasonable concern. I did not use the included magnetic charger. Cable as I am already using the magnetic connector on my Quest 2 which supports USB 3.1 (10Gbps) data transfer and works for wired communication for PCVR so I cannot give honest feedback on the magnetic charging cable that came with it. I didn't have to use the waist belt either (although it was included, I forgot to put it on the table when I was photographing the included accessories). Overall I am very happy with the quality of the holder and feel that it contains everything I need to ensure my external battery pack sits securely whilst better balancing the weight of the headset and thanks to the included rubber pad it also sits comfortably on my head and provides both comfort and stability (because the padding seems to keep the top strap from slipping under the weight of the battery pack).
