I wash them in a very mild bleach solution (2 cups cold water/1 teaspoon bleach) and then hang them upside down until I'm ready to use them again. I had no problem with the flex bottle not drying out on the inside, but I have six of these so I flip them. A bottle can hang for four or five days before it hits the market. I travel a lot and they are VERY CONVENIENT at the airport and save money as I can refill them at the fountain after going through security.
