We cook a lot of jerky, usually 8-12 pounds at a time, and sometimes keep it in the fridge for several weeks. while we sample the latest flavors. I used to keep humidity in check by placing paper towels with my beef jerky and swapping them out when they got wet. I really like these desiccant packs better. I'm not worried about recharging them, although I might do so in the future. They seem to make the jerky really dry which means it lasts even longer. Very happy with these desiccant packs.
