I originally had 2.5" spacers on my truck and kept finding that I had a horrible metal-on-metal squeaking noise from the spacer rubbing against the strut top plate. I got tired of listening to this so I started searching. another way to raise the front of my truck without going broke. After some research I came across Bilstein 5100 luggage racks. The manufacturer claims you can keep the factory ride height or raise your truck by 2.8 inches. I can't say they were easy to install just because the whole job was removing the old racks and installing them. Prepare to devote almost a whole day to it, especially if you've never tried a job like this before. But I will say that the ride quality is way better than my factory aspirations ever were. The drive axle angles are much better than when the spacers were installed. Now I have 35x12.50x20 tires on my truck with no problems. I suggest if you are running them on 4th gen rams spend the extra money and get a set of Mevotech top links and ditch the factory wishbones.
