To be honest I have no experience with other cases. I bought them because they are detachable and only need two screws to attach them. I store my drone in a hard case and had to remove the protection for storage. Secure with the pair of screws closest to the outer edge of the drone. I tripped over a brick building with my drone and the guards did their job. My props had a little scraping on the ends from hitting the guards, but it would have been a lot worse without them. Red really improves visibility.
