I bought this roll to cover an entire shelf of books (in my guest room/office) with mismatched spines. I already had brown kraft paper, but I felt that all shades of brown would be too boring. The downside to the brown paper (I already had it) was that it was so thick for the job that it would open paperback covers. That brings me to the positive aspects. and Cons of this "Arts & Crafts White Kraft Paper Roll": Pros: - Very malleable to accommodate a variety of materials and book cover sizes. - Folds easily and does not tear. - Was wide enough, 18 inches, to cover even my largest resource books. - Pleasant clear, pure white color. Disadvantages: - Extremely transparent! The spine can be tucked under the cover to act as a double layer, which seems to do the job well. general aesthetics of the books now. On the close ups of the book you can see where I folded the kraft paper and where I added the second layer to the spine as it is more opaque than the center of the book cover where you can clearly see the title and cover.
