I rarely take the time to write reviews but I've waited so long to get this light got it and finally got it installed on my bike so thought i'd share what i learned. I start with what is already difficult for me to see; I wear prescription glasses. My 2007 Streetglide was great, but nothing compared to this one. I installed it the same day I received it and finally got my bike out at night... and was disappointed. I had the feeling that the light goes out after a certain distance. I could see the "X" everyone was talking about, but it didn't bother me. It was the fact that while it delivered excellent light performance, it wasn't too far from the future. I had high beams, but I can't always turn the high beams on. I ended up following my headlight adjustment manual. What I have found is that if I could go a little higher (6 inches) than the recommended height it would be great! FIND THE TIME TO ADJUST THE LIGHTS! Yes, it's a beautiful light, but tune it to your liking and you'll love it even more. I found that after setting it up correctly, I could barely see the "X". Other drivers who have checked this light have said the same thing as me; You shouldn't see "X". This lamp is worth the money. I don't know if it's better than the $450 Harley Light (I've never compared them side by side), but it's definitely lighter on my wallet. This is my first upgrade and I know it was the best place to start.
