Truck Lite 27270C Headlamp Review

This is SUPER! Plug and Play on my Harley Road King 06. It takes about 5 minutes to install and the light output is far superior to the old halogens that came with the bike. It sticks out about 1/4 inch more than standard as some others have stated. I solved this problem by ordering some "French" headlight rings that protrude a bit further. I really liked the performance of this headlight in various tests, but I didn't realize until it was too late that the low and high beams were not centered. So if you center the low beam hotspot directly in front of you, the high beam will be aimed to the left from that position instead of centering on your low beam. I bought this after seeing a review of Kuryakyn on Revain and someone pointed out that it had this particular light with a Kuryakyn decal over the truck logo Lite was. Installation wasn't too bad - since the factory headlight was an H4 I had to pull out the entire assembly including removing the aiming screws completely so you have to do a lot of tweaking after installation to get it aiming properly. I used these Trucklite LEDs to replace the stock 7" sealed headlights on an old car. They are way better than sealed headlights at a reasonable price for high quality LEDs. They are made in the USA and this Trucklite model has been around for many years and has stood the test of time.
