Inaccurate -- 5 degrees above normal
If a second thermometer reads 70 degrees, this one reads 75 degrees. Too bad I didn't test it sooner so I can send it back. I tested it again in ice cold and boiling water. It was accurate at 32 degrees Fahrenheit, but registered 216 degrees Fahrenheit at boiling point - 4 degrees higher.
