Single plug unit

At first I thought it was perfect. Correct length, appearance, etc. But the double-ended socket (farthest from the wall socket) on the six-socket block was no longer conducting current. (I have two) It's not good and I can't use either one because I feel like they aren't safe if it doesn't do what it's supposed to. Remember, they work well for the first year or so.
