First of all I love Caron Simply Soft! It's really soft, silky and comfortable. Interestingly this also has some weight when you put the afghan together, even the size of a crib, pretty cool! It does not fade, not even red, but rolls up even after the first wash. It doesn't shrink. I named it "ATTENTION BUYER" because the color red is wrong! They sent me HARVEST RED, not just red. HARVEST RED is significantly darker. "Red" is a lighter red, more of a true base red. Think Santa hats and Valentines. HARVEST RED strives for fall foliage. I'm not upset and am returning for two reasons: #1 My local yarn shops are reopening and I think they should have what I need; and 2 well, the red harvest goes into my stash.
