I saw this one for a good price and bought it straight away. I kept milking my balding front tire until I got onto a hard-packed dirt road and saw a sign mentioning alligators in the area. God, I could definitely use more grip. I had lighter tires but they weren't too bad when I was focused on the task at hand. I've gone through the phase of buying "faster" tires. They're not "fast," but I like having more control when driving over tricky terrain like creepy gravel and granulated sugar. The white reflective strip is also good. I can get one for my back too. I am considering sneaking in 42c when the bike comes with 40c. The rear tire is regularly subjected to heavy loads. I'm 38c ahead and it's ok. Like everyone, I hate flat tires, so even if I miss a $10 tire, it's worth paying extra for the extra protection.
