I'm sure others could get it for their purpose but we bought it for my husband's '95 F150 as they didn't have OBD ports II in 95. We tried to connect to the scanner with this cable, but it didn't work. It could be a scanner or it could be a cable, I have no idea. I bet these are some of the older scanners we tried to use.
