Review on 🔋 Powerful and Versatile: Oster 6684 12-Speed Blender in Sleek Black Finish by Mary Chewning

I have an older version of the same product that still works great. Based on that experience, I expected this one to be relatively equal. However, I am disappointed with the overall quality. It's very loud, it sounds very high pitched like it's fighting, and the case feels very cheap. It has difficulty crushing frozen fruit even when adding a large amount of liquid (e.g. water). The cord is exceptionally short and barely reaches the outlet. I'm not sure how long this will take, but I'm hoping to make it through the year. It certainly doesn't look like a device with a decent lifespan. Update (Oct 2019) It still works - I use it 2-3 times a week on average. The downsides remain, of course, but I try to reduce the amount of frozen food I add at any given time to make sure they work. Sometimes I have to prepare a cocktail in two steps; otherwise my cocktail would be clunky. Still, it deserves 3/5 stars.
