Excellent mirrors for the price

First I would like to say that these are very good mirrors for their money. Love the all-metal construction, the sleek design and anti-glare coating (which my pants didn't have), and the fact that I paid about half what Honda asked for ONE replacement mirror for a pair. Good things: 1. Aluminum mirror frame. without plastic/nylon2. Looks cool3. Anti-reflective coating Neutral things: 1. They're small. I would say around 2 x 4 inches which is more than enough for a good rear view BUT it can be a bit tricky to get it right due to the limited vertical space. I found that I had to loosen the clutch and brake lugs and twist them forward a bit to get the mirrors up enough. 2. People who claim that they do not vibrate well should understand that you can use the 2 screws on the back of the mirror to adjust the tension of the ball joint. Once the mirror is where you want it, tighten it and it won't move.3. The fittings are made of steel and they screw into aluminium. ALWAYS when this is the case you have to be very careful not to damage the much softer aluminum threads. This is further complicated by the thick layer of paint covering both the male and female threads. But be careful, slowly move in and out until the paint wears off and you have full thread engagement. I messed around with a lot of bolting and was convinced the aluminum didn't thread properly in a minute, but it bolted well in the end. Bad things: 1. The hardware is not stainless steel and the next morning rust spots appeared where the wrench touched them. It doesn't really matter to me as I'm used to substituting all sorts of things with live Florida stainless steel, but it's worth mentioning (no reason to deduct a star as I assumed it wasn't stainless steel hardware) . given the price)
