I have a Sears kit that was built at my home in Cape Charles, Virginia in the 1920's. One of the front doors had a gap at the bottom ranging from 1/4 inch to nearly a full inch. After finding a 6 foot long snake skin in the basement I decided it was time to do something about it. Stripping the underside of my door, and so far no more snake skin! This weather protection is made of thick aluminum and is well made. It was easy to install and does a great job as weather protection and snakes. You will need a good hacksaw or electric saw and a small file to clean up the edges after cutting.
