I generally like the stove. It appears to stay cleaner than a glass surface as no substances stick to it. The grilles are easier to clean than anything I've had before. At first I thought the handles couldn't be removed for cleaning, but they are just stuck and need a little tug to loosen. This upper will scratch, but that's to be expected with stainless steel. In every oven you will find something that you do not like. I used to have a glass cooktop, gas and used a razor blade all the time to scrape any build up around the burners. It broke during rework when installing a new hood. I do not regret this purchase.
