Great alternative to hanging brackets.
One of my existing linkage brackets (CURT 17208) bent during a short drive while towing my 30ft trailer (about 7000lbs) with my truck. It didn't flex much, but I was disappointed in the fact that it did. I decided that instead of replacing it I would just buy a regular hook mount so I bought this set. Just used it 3 hours drive (to the campsite in the mountains) and 3 hours back. It worked perfectly. Not a single creak or crease. Happy with my purchase.
