The filter arrived quickly and in good condition. However, the ad says it will fit the Winix 9500. After re-reading the description I should have realized that you have to remove the plastic housing of the filter in order for it to fit. This removes the foam seal around the filter, allowing some air to bypass, and also eliminates the need for a charcoal filter. Instead, you should use a black foam filter, which only appears as a gap filler. The air cleaner is working for now, but I'll definitely have to replace it in the next month or two instead of giving a year's service on the 9500's other filters. It might work for other series but I wouldn't recommend it for the 9500. This is mine. It's my fault for not reading more carefully. Buyer Warning. Read twice, click "Order" once.
