Easy to install and adjust. We have a small/medium lot and installed it around the perimeter of our back and front yard. Especially in winter it squeaks what needs to be turned on. ALWAYS wear a collar and check the warning limits EVERY TIME you change signal strength! The guide takes you through a 14-day learning process. Be sure to follow the training instructions, otherwise your dog may overgeneralize the correction zone and become afraid to even go out into the yard. This was the last resort for our dog who regularly jumps 5-6 foot high fences and scares neighbors on walks. (He's VERY over friendly.) It worked great for that purpose and now he gets to hang out in our yard too. Dogs still need supervision when used without a real fence. Neighborhood grandchildren playing on the other side of the fence were also barked less.
