I have used various models of boogie board since the early days. The Boogie Board Dashboard works great as a bulletin board, drawing tablet or journal. It's also very light (weight less than 9 ounces). The board comes with a pen and several templates (daily planner, weekly planner, to-do list, dot grid and lines) to stick on the back of the board. For even more fun we can stick our favorite photo/picture on the back and circle it on the board. This board has a very nice artboard and display and is powered by a replaceable CR2025 battery. There is a pen holder on the top of the board. There is a delete button and a lock button on the bottom of the board to prevent accidental erasing of the board's contents. However, it does not have a memory function to save content. There are many such LCD boards on the market today. But the Boogie Board has a long history of making good LC writing tablets, so it's worth spending a few bucks more.
