I am 89 years old and have had trouble trimming my toenails with regular toenail clippers for years. First, I didn't soak my feet in warm water with a cup of diluted Epsom salts. Second, I didn't have a nail cleaner and third, I didn't have a nail clipper like this. The nail cleaner has a flat end, making it easy and painless to clean the edges of your nails. The clipper was very easy to use and cut the nail quickly and evenly without cutting the skin. However, I still have to be careful because the tip of the trimmer is very, very sharp and can easily cut skin if I accidentally hit it with the tip. The nail file was also very helpful in trimming rough edges on the nails. I'm amazed at the quality of the product for a low price. For the first time in a very long time I've managed to trim my toenails without incident and they look very good.
