This product is quite adjustable. I was worried because my son is 18 months old but he was premature and still small. He is actually wearing 12 month old pants. We bought the pants for 18 months and needed a belt and this was easy to put on. It didn't even happen on the lowest tier. It worked. It's a bit difficult to get through some of the loops on the pants that are too small, but it's not too bad. He's quite active in running and climbing and so far he's holding out. It's a simple little crocheted strap and I was afraid it would easily come loose while playing. It survived. It's also easy to put on and take off. All in all a great purchase.
