Great product. My son is typically a size 5 for many clothing brands and is in the 90th percentile for age/height/weight (he is 3.5 years old and weighs 45 pounds). So I ordered these 5/6 swim shorts, assuming "a little big" wouldn't be a problem, but they are really big for him. They will probably fit the average 5 year old. They are lightweight - 100% polyester. Looks well cut. The lace is comfortable (not just for beauty) and tightens well. Inside is an insert. Also a cargo pocket on the side.
