We didn't really need the instructions, but they didn't even provide for the possibility of a stand. There was an extra pin in the kit, for which we could not find a place either on the scooter or in the instructions. The included mini tool set was the wrong size. It appears that the wrong kit was put in the box on this model. It's tall enough for my 11-year-old giant (already 5ft 8in) in the tallest position, but still needs to bend forward a bit. There are 3 elevation pins instead of a more adjustable full slide. The foot platform is a bit small for one who should be an adult too, his size 11 takes up the entire platform and he ends up balancing with the other foot on his toes or just drifting down the street like a freaky flamingo.
