The colors are bright and beautiful. However, I really wanted a very "polished" cotton thread that was less likely to tangle. A very smooth yarn is also easier to work with than this coarser yarn. I keep this product because it has nice colors, a nice box and some useful accessories. But I wish I'd gone to a needlework store instead and bought some premium branded US or European embroidery floss. Many products from Asia offer excellent value for money, but the goal is usually to keep the price down. For this product I would rather pay more for high quality.
