Works well, plug orientation allowed me to use Smart Plug and Ring Chime on both left and right outlets, with a full set of AC outlets and a USB plug in the middle Are available. You can laugh at it (it doesn't screw in) but it's sturdy enough to plug in and out of sockets and is very comfortable to hold when plugging and unplugging devices. I thought this was a good deal and just bought another Aduro brand outlet (square version with higher amp USB sockets) for another room. Incidentally, the square versions of the Aduro have a screw that matches the base so that it doesn't fall out of the wall even with a tug or tug, if kids are riding along or are afraid it might fall out of the base unexpectedly (which again, I think, with the oval version will not happen under normal circumstances unless pulled by a child or used with normal care).
