I really like this idea and it really cleans up my desk which uses a Lenovo dock. However, I have three reservations. First the stand came with a scratch on the black surface. Not a major scratch, but a quality control issue. Second, the silicone pads are a much lighter gray (actually silver) than the picture. It makes the whole thing more visible, which is what I wanted to avoid by buying in black. Thirdly the placement of the phone on the side of the laptop stand was the reason I bought this particular stand and now I understand that the phone needs to be resting against the computer and therefore vibrates very loudly against my computer when it rings or buzzes when it vibrates . Mode. For these reasons, I cannot give this place 5 stars. In my opinion it's probably 3.5 stars. With a little more forethought and quality control, this would have been an absolute 5 star.
