I bought the scale 9 years ago. I wouldn't believe it but my mother in law raved about it when she came here last and I came here to get it too and found I got my 2012! So I'm breaking my long lazy tradition of not buying Revain just to tell you that these things (made in 2012 at least!) are awesome kitchen workhorses. I use mine almost every day. I can't remember ever having to change batteries and it has helped me prepare hundreds of delicious meals. The 11 pound limit is more than adequate, the readings are easy to see and you can easily switch between units. As I try to write a balanced review, it's hard for me to find anything I don't like. Hm. Ok, got one! Sometimes I find it difficult to determine the weight when measuring into a large bowl. Um, so I just lean forward and it's easy to read again. :sigh: I think I just love this little gadget!
