An improved Garmin over the older model. Touchscreen sometimes stutters

I have a Garmin 265 and it has been great. I bought this for my girlfriend while it was on sale. A few things I like: - 5 inch screen. GPS makes it easier to see details. Saves me half a second checking the GPS while driving. - QWERTY keyboard. Although I'm used to the old alphabetic keyboard, I find it very comfortable and natural to type on a QWERTY keyboard. I think that applies to most people. It doesn't help much. But if I'm driving into Florida or some metropolitan area I'm not familiar with, it helps A LOT - speed limit indicator. Although in some places it doesn't display or display the correct speed limit. In general, that's for sure. If you are speeding, your MPH will turn red to alert you that you have exceeded the speed limit. - Postcode option to enter a city. Instead of having to enter the full city name to search the entire database. A simple 5 digit zip code identifies the city you are traveling to. do not like. - 5" screen. It's big enough to obstruct your view at times. - Keyboard lag. Sometimes you thought you didn't press hard enough, so the letter doesn't appear when you press it repeatedly, spins out to around to be a delay then you have to delete the duplicates and it delays again so you delete too many characters this hasn't happened even in 265 don't you know why the newer model has this problem about things i don't like. It's a great GPS.

Pros
  • Positive only
Cons
  • Will do
