Revolutionary cable with a little flaw

This cable is like no other cable I have ever owned. It's very thick (about 4.2mm or just under 3/16 inch) but more flexible than any other cable I've seen. The silicone coating makes it feel very "soft". hangs almost completely straight when hanging from one end. It's really incredible to use! what he says he does! The only small issue I have with this cable is that for a cable rated at 100W (5A), the voltage drop is the highest I've seen of any cable I've owned (11 different cables ). In a cable that's only 3 feet long, I see a voltage drop of about 330mV at about 9V, 2A. By comparison, that's about the same voltage drop as my cheap 10-foot cables at 60W. A Watts are lost in just one cable at only 18 watts (remember this cable is rated at 100 watts). My other 3ft 100W (5A) cable loses about half the power at about 1m 60mV or 1/3W. (3) different 60W (3A) 3ft cables I have, have a drop of about 240-260mV or 1/2W. I can only think it's smaller, either with thinner conductors or a different metal alloy than pure copper. to increase flexibility through higher power losses in the cable. This is most likely normal as the silicone insulation can easily handle the extra heat and at the end of the day we're talking losses that are still within the USB spec. Ultimately I just didn't expect it to be the worst conductive cable out of the 11 I gave, it's an expensive premium cable.

Pros
  • Bend, twist, bend: Won't tangle even when placed in a pocket or wrapped around a portable charger.
Cons
  • Periodicity
