Good price. However, the taste just isn't for me. I've tried the dark roast a couple of times and each time it was missing something. I kept coming back because I thought maybe it was just the bag back then, but it was every bag. It's not a bad taste, but there's nothing special about it and nothing that would tell me "dark roast". It's definitely not as strong as I would expect from a dark roast, and it actually feels a bit weak to me. And unlike others, I don't feel any chocolate tones. UPDATE: I'm updating to 3.5 stars instead of 4 for a number of reasons. I ran out of the last pack I bought today so I added the last scoop I had left. It actually brought the coffee closer to the dark roasted flavor that I like. I'm too generous with my scoops when I'm making coffee, so I'm probably already adding an extra scoop. So adding that extra scoop was probably equivalent to adding 2-2.5 extra scoops, which shouldn't be necessary to get a good flavor profile. Also, I let my last cup sit for too long and it got a little cold. As one person said, I really felt some chocolatey undertones at that moment. I don't like cold coffee, so that doesn't happen when I usually drink coffee. I don't want or think I need to do either or both of these things every time I make coffee so I won't be upgrading this to 4 stars but hopefully it will help some people who might be on the fence buy these specific version.
