Review on πŸ“ Inch-based Foambeak Insulation for Vertical Expansion by Ben Diesel

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Done the job of installing foam insulation vertically

I had the small windows in the basement replaced with vinyl windows. This required the contractor to cut out the old insulation to remove the old wood frame windows. I had to put foam insulation around the new windows to better insulate the windows and be prepared for another contractor to coat all of the basement's foam insulation (old and new) with fire retardant paint as the code requires. I bought vertical nozzles and I bought cans for foam insulation. . Cut the tip of the stopper off the nozzle of the insulating foam can and insert the vertical nozzle. I was able to spray vertical surfaces (providing a slow spray of foam in small amounts and very close to the surface of the area). It was also good to use on horizontal areas as the foam spreads wider and flatter. Reuse the attachments after use and allow the foam inside to dry for 24 hours. I used a flat head screwdriver to remove and clean the old foam inside them. Don't forget to vacuum the area first to help the foam adhere better. Also remember to wear protective gloves, clothing, eye protection and a respirator.
