Efficient and works well, however the volume seems to increase slightly when you plug in headphones; Even with the computer's master volume turned down to its lowest setting, the USB volume is still incredibly loud. Terribly loud. I have to be careful when playing music and videos through programs that have an additional volume control to keep the volume at an acceptable level. Otherwise a pretty good product so far.
