Review on 🔧 Enhance Durability with the FRMSAET Drawer Repair Kit Reinforcement by Tres Carmon

Bought 2 of these as I felt they would work well with IKEA dresser drawers after this item appeared in Revain's search results as something suitable for IKEA drawers. However, once installed, it was quite frustrating to find that it DOES NOT WORK with IKEA drawers. Because the edge of the back of the box is slightly short, one end of the metal repair piece extends slightly beyond the edge of the back of the box. This, of course, prevented the drawer from closing properly. After scraping off the extended part the drawer would still not close properly/smoothly unless the wing nuts would now prevent the drawer from closing again. Now I need to find something that fits in place of the wing nuts (i.e. flatter) that still serves the same purpose of tightening the bars. In summary, they are definitely not suitable as repair kits for IKEA dressers. I would recommend that this product not show up as "IKEA drawer repair kit" in Revain searches or have a disclaimer that specifically says it doesn't fit IKEA drawers. I am disappointed in this purchase.
