We used to have an internal IT department but now as we rely more heavily on hosted services we're relying much less on them. They've really come into their own over recent years. I'm never sure if my email gets through or not - sometimes it does get picked up and processed quickly (within hours) others takes weeks! But this is very difficult for me to control. It's good for our customers too because they are able to work remotely and keep better time-to-time tabs on what's going on without having people constantly around to help out when things go wrong.
