By buying this item you get exactly what you expect. The rope and beads should match in size (beads come in different sizes, but the holes are the same size). Some beads are a bit rough on the inside, but on the outside they are smooth and well finished. The only downside to the package I received was that the rope wasn't packed as neatly as in the photo, so I had to spend a little time untangling it before using it). These are just wooden beads, so they are suitable for a variety of purposes. I personally use them to make magic props.
